Wildstar

So introduction:

Myself and the Pretty Cassian started playing Wildstar last weekend and seeing as when we played WoW we blogged about it at http://twoandahalforcs.blogspot.com/. After reading a few of the Wildstar blogs I wanted to continue that tradition and start a blog here.  I thought for a bit about just continuing the blog at 2.5 orcs but it just doesn't fit well.  Over there it's been over 2 years since we last played any mmo and the theme doesn't fit.

We now have 3 little ones running around our apartment and are approaching the game very cautiously.  No more school, now we're grown ups with a real job and we don't want to upset our life balance by getting enraptured with a game to a point where we can't think straight. So caution right?

Okay now that that has been said, let me channel my inner... "Hey eldest what is the name of the overactive pink pony?"  "Pinky Pie Party pony.  You can say Pinky Pie or Party Pony or the whole thing... if you are typing it anyways."

Ah yes.  My inner Pinky Pie.

OMGOSH OMGOSHOMGOSHOMGOSHOMGOSHOMGOSHOMGOSH!!!!

WILDSTAR IS SO AWESOME ITS THE AWESOMEST AND I WAS HEALING AND THEN RUNNING AND GUNS AND SPACE AND CHUA SO MUCH CHUA AND HAPPY SPACE THOUGHTS AND MORE CHUA AND GAAAAAAAH SO AWESOME.

*cough*

Sorry.  I'm trying to remember I'm a grown up.  

Organized thoughts only.

I hope.

1. Wildstar is Firefly mixed with Guardians of the Galaxy and done better.
2. Battleground healing and esper.
3. Offspecs.
4. On how the Dominion isn't really the bad guys.
5. Chua, goblins, gnomes, and the idea of engineering through mad science.
6. My initial thoughts on Soothe.

Okay those points.  Those are all posts for the future but I'm addressing #1 right now:

So if you haven't seen Guardians of the Galaxy shame on you.  But i'm not discussing plot so shouldn't have to worry much.

Starlord = Cassian Spellslinger

Gamora = Mechari Stalker

Drax = Draken Warrior

Rocket Racoon = Chua Engineer

Groot = Bio-Mechari Medic

Yeah.  So that's that.

Oh and I play a Cassian Esper.  Healing specced.  Leveling through battlegrounds, because pvp healing is awesome.  And I don't play much each night due to the kids so I'm the grand level of 14 but I like to write and blog and why not blog as I level slowly and carefully up(1-2 battelgrounds a night means something like a level every other night).

The Pretty Caspian was playing and engineer but found out she hates explorer and is starting over as an esper scientist or some such.
